While I’m used to hunting down budget Airbnbs for my weekends away, I can never help myself from looking up the more luxurious options. Cool architecture, unique homes and stunning locations are just the beginning.

These are – in my opinion – the six best Airbnb’s in Australia. 

Treehouse, New South Wales  
$954.14 / night
Secluded is an understatement when it comes to this treehouse hovering above 600 acres of private wilderness in the Blue Mountains. The property sits between a World Heritage-listed rainforest and two national parks. Oh, and you can enjoy these stunning views from the built-in hot tub.

The Carriage, Western Australia  
$208.57 / night
This decorated train carriage was once a part of the Barossa Valley Hotel. This beautiful restored carriage is located in Mundaring, surrounded by the Perth Hills and Swan Valley vineyards, this destination combines a quirky, rustic accommodation with fine dining, local pubs and weekend markets.

‘The Cube’ Murray River, South Australia
